She learned the value of simple and delicious dishes prepared with the spirit of genuine hospitality. Working alongside her parents in the family liquor store, Maria and her family toured vineyards, breweries and distilleries learning the art of food and beverage pairing. Chef Maria completed a Culinary Apprenticeship under the tutelage of Chef Christa Wambar and Chef Charles Le Bar in the Immigrant Room of the American Club in Kohler, Wisconsin. Chef Maria went on to own her own restaurant and won the Cheese Capitol Cookoff in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin.
